GCC interior ministers held talks here on Wednesday dealing with security cooperation among their states particularly for combating terrorism, organized crime and narcotics.
The meeting, held on sidelines of the 33rd session of the Arab Interior Council, comprised Kuwait Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Mohammad Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Saudi Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Prince Mohammad Bin Naif Al-Saud, Qatari Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Abdullah Bin Nasser Al-Thani, UAE Deputy Premier and Interior Minister Lieut. Gen. Sheikh Saif Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan and Omani Interior Minister Humoud Al-Bousaidi.
The talks among the ministers dealt with regional, international issues, security files and means of promoting inter-GCC security cooperation, in shadow of their historic relations and the common challenges.
Following the meeting, as well as conclusion of the Arab conference, Sheikh Mohammad Al-Khaled's delegation departed Tunisia. He was seen off by Tunisian Justice Minister Omar Mansour, the State of Kuwait Ambassador Ali Ahmad Al-Thafiri and embassy staff.
