Meanwhile, the Civil Service Commission (CSC) has approved the request of Ministry of Health to delegate Kuwaiti doctors and accountants to work at overseas medical offices instead of contracting with local employees in those countries, reports Al-Anba daily. It specified a condition that the delegated doctors must be titled as “technical employees”, and will receive financial rights that are similar to that of diplomatic employees as per the financial decree of Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Concerning the accountants, CSC explained that they will be considered as civil employees of Ministry of Foreign Affairs in terms of the allowances they will receive, in accordance with CSC’s decision No. 18/1998. It insisted that Ministry of Foreign Affairs should be consulted regarding the financial aspects related to the delegation before starting the relevant procedures.
