AIP, Kuwait organized ‘Meritorious Awards Nite 2013’

Association of Indian Professionals (AIP), Kuwait hosted a superb event to honor meritorious Indian students on Saturday, 28 December 2013. The event was held at the auditorium of the Indian Community Senior School in Salmiya. Awardees were chosen based on the CBSE examination results of class XII declared for the Academic Year 2012 - 2013 from all Indian Schools in Kuwait affiliated with the CBSE system of education of India. The AIP awards stand for excellence and the students felicitated embody the high expectations of their parents and schools. The Ambassador of India, His Excellency Mr. Sunil Jain was the Chief Guest.

The event’s program was divided into two segments. The first segment, from 5 to 6 pm, was an interactive program designated as ‘Meet your seniors’ session, which was specially designed for students studying in classes IX to XII. The seniors present were students who completed their class XII from Indian Schools in Kuwait and are pursuing higher studies in Kuwait or outside Kuwait. These seniors talked about their experiences and answered questions from the audience members. They provided valuable first-hand information about various institutions and disciplines to the aspiring student body who wanted to approach higher studies in a pragmatic manner.

The second segment of the program featured the AIP Awards distribution where the awardees were each presented with either a Gold, Silver and Bronze medallion in addition to a certificate of merit according to their high percentile score. Mr. Sunil Jain distributed the certificates and awards to the smiling students.

The trophy for the Best Performing School of class XII was awarded to the representatives of the school and they came on stage to pose with the trophy. The students were delighted with their win. The ‘Meritorious Awards Nite 2013’ ended on a very jubilant note, with many members appreciating AIP’s efforts in organizing a successful event and awarding merit.
