The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Mohammad Al-Khalid has issued strict instructions to deport any expatriate who insults Saudi Arabia or any sisterly country on the social media and refer a citizen to the court for committing the same offence, reports Al-Shahed daily.

The sources revealed the Interior Ministry has until now deported six GCC citizens and eight Arabs, believed to be members of the Muslim Brotherhood Group for offending Saudi Arabia through their tweets.

The investigations showed the defendants were part of the subversive ideas adopted by the Muslim Brotherhood organization. The daily added, the ministry has formed a special squad whose members are specialists in e-crimes.

The task of the squad members is to identify expatriates and Gulf citizens who are affiliated to the Muslim Brotherhood.

The squad has been given full powers to monitor those who promote terrorist and extremist ideas and deport them from the country immediately. The sources added those who respond to tweets on the recent events in Egypt will be summoned and referred for deportation center. The sources added the Cyber Crimes Department will monitor any expatriate involved in political issues, will be arrested and deported.
